Histopathological Study of Gastric Lesions and its Correlation with Mucin Histochemistry and Helicobacter Pylori Infection

Background: Gastric disorders are responsible for a great deal of mortality and morbidity one the most common encountered problems in clinical practice. H. Pylori infection is majority acid peptic disease also known carcinogen. Intestinal metaplasia considered precancerous lesion. We studied incidence pylori mucin histochemistry different gastric lesions.
 Methods: This study was conducted period 1 year, 50 specimens received histopathological Department Pathology, AMCH. Slides were stained with routine H&E Giemsa detection. PAS/AB stain (at pH 2.5 & 1.0) done to histochemistry.
 Results: Out cases, 58% cases malignant 42% benign. seen cases. IM observed 40% lesions. more On subclassification, Type 2 almost equally both benign lesions, but 3 Incidence higher intestinal than diffuse adenocarcinoma. A statistically significant association between IM.
 
 Conclusion: Routine detection by special stains all biopsy helps early
